Much like Iceland and Greenland*, nailclippers (fingernail and toenail) seem to work opposite of the way they should. The relatively smaller fingernail clippers seem to work better on toenails because they're more agile and precise around those big ol' toenails. Meanwhile, the larger toenail clippers seem to work better on fingernails because they can just envelop the damn thing and cut 'em in one fell swoop.

Adding to the layers of complexity here, the wording on these beauties alludes to tweezers instead of nailclippers 🤔.

The above reminds me that Eddie Van Halen started out playing the drums while big brother Alex started out on guitar. At some point in their youth, Alex VH started playing Eddie's drums and immediately took to them in a manner far superior to the way he was laboring on guitar. Eddie noticed that Al was quite comfortable on the drum set and had little choice but to noodle around on the now-vacated guitar. And the rest, as they say, is history.

*Legend has it that back in the days of yore, a band of Norwegians Vikings fled via boat and discovered a green island to settle upon. Afraid that their enemies might pursue them, they sent word back to Norway that their island was actually an uninhabitable "ice-land." They also let it be known that a more distant and larger island was lush and more "user-friendly" (as the Nords were no doubt fond of saying). A "green-land" if you will. That was their story, anyway. Of course, as we all know IRL, Iceland is much more temperate than Greenland.
